Windows xp ?

economically im going to install windows xp which i downloaded from a website but lately incase something goes wrong and my computers f'd up how do i burn my computer i own right now adjectives its files and stuff onto a disc that i can boot p incase stuff goes wrong

You might consider a disk cloning software approaching Symantec's Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image:

These utilities can copy everything on your hard drive and you could restore your computer at a next date to the exact same condition. But if you don't feel resembling spending this much money you could check out some of the free cloning programs here:

First thing, do you hold partitions on your rock-hard disk? If the answer is yes, then don't verbs about loosing your facts as you can move all your notes on Logical drive in extended separator ( Commonly known as D Drive). As during installation if you opt to format your C Drive you will retain the background on D Drive.



But if you are using single partition ( C Drive only) and alloted adjectives the hard disk space to it after there will be probability of loosing your background (only in casing you format your hard disk).



So best advise is take a proper backup on disc or DVD (in case you enjoy DVD writer) and release all stiffness of mind.
