Will this processor work beside this motherboard?

i own a elitegroup k8m800-m2 motherboard and a amd sempron 2600+, will an amd athlon xp 3200 work in this motherboard or would 3200 be too much for this motherboard?

Will this processor work beside this motherboard?

It look to be a Socket 754.

Ready to feel AMD Athlon 64 and Sempron processors, the ECS K8M800-M2 motherboard is a spectacular foundation for a modern-day computing experience. Working beautifully beside your components thanks to a 800Mhz speed FSB, and offering convenient connectivity near digital devices through the 8 hi-speed USB 2.0 ports, ensuring this is an outstanding micro ATX board.

I use an AMD Athlon San Diego 3800 2.4 GHz and own no complaints. It does what I need. Mine similar to the 939 Socket?

NewEgg have 2 754 Socket Athlons no xp's

the sempron is socket 754 i suppose, the athlon XP is Socket A----> it wont work... carry your self another motherboard for the athlon XP.
The ECS Elitegroup K8M800-M2 motherboard has a Socket 754 for the CPU, but the Athlon XP 3200 is a Socket A CPU. You cannot use that CPU next to that motherboard.
Since your K8M800-M2 is a socket 754 motherboard, then I don't surmise an Athlon XP processor would work on it. According to Wikipedia (link below), an Athlon XP processor is only available for the Socket A (462).
