You do not inevitability to install memory within pairs!?

Yea this is not a cross-question.

I get it.

I am freshly sick of people recounting other people that the rationale their ram is out of order is because It needs to be contained by pairs, LOL.

Simm memory modules and RDRAM modules are the ONLY MEMORY VERSIONS THAT REQUIRED PAIRING. BOTH OF WHICH ARE NO LONGER USED FOR SYSTEM MEMORY.

Current memory modules do not require pairing.

Though you can get a enactment benefit out of running a matched pair of memory within Dual Channel mode.

BUT IT IS NOT REQUIRED!

Sorry, I just needed to attain that out. Boy do I feel better.

You do not inevitability to install memory within pairs!?

100% spot on.
