Who is taking the head right presently? Intel or AMD?

I've read that AMD be doing better when it come to being the ruler in the world of technology (because of AMD opteron released surrounded by 2003).

But, then near the Xeon 5100 series, Intel is back to taking the front (5100 series released in 2006).

It have been a year immediately, and I'm wondering if there have been any silver. Or has nearby been anything better than the 5100 series?

I'm a newbie.

Thanks surrounded by advance

Who is taking the head right presently? Intel or AMD?

Intel still have the lead but AMD is developing fresh products supposedly due out in 6-9 months that should serve them catch up and possibly leap frog Intel.

Wait and see.
Intel hold introduced their new quad core processor contained by Jan

However ,AMD aren't far behind.
amd will other be one step behind. i still prefer them tho for gaming..
intel is far ahead in fact. they run cooler, amd changes their socket type too much so they are not easy to upgrade, and to reach the 3.0 ghz dual core processors you are going to rate $410 for an amd, and $80 for the intel! intels cheapest processor is about $40, and it kick the crap out of an amd thats $100. an intlel cpu is just a better solution for very soon, until amd pulls their heads out of their as*es, we wont see much improvment over intel.
