Why does my 4x512MB RAM accomplish faster later 2x1GB RAM on my computer?

4x512mb average frames per second 82.22

2x1gb average frames per second 77.42

I thought 2x1gb be suppose to be faster? I guess not! Can you explaine this?

It is 2*2=4 .

When u use 4 RAMs more data will be capable of go through it.But around 2 RAMs it is not this way
Perhaps you did not put your 2x1Gb sticks on like color slots that is why it is running within single channel mode. Try them contained by the same color of DIMM slot. They should be faster within DUAL CHANNEL MODE.
