Why do computer speakers read aloud similar to 25 rms, later total system power 60?

it's 25 watts continuous rms and 60 watts zenith 2 peak(mostly distorted harmonics)
RMS or rms is a power measurement. Here a quote from Wikipedia:



In arithmetic, root mean square (abbreviated RMS or rms), also prearranged as the quadratic mean, is a statistical test of the magnitude of a varying number. It is especially useful when variates are positive and distrustful, e.g. waves.
The high number is what is called PEAK. RMS is a much better width and it is roughly equal to 70% of PEAK. Manufacturers love to use the PEAK number to sell a product however.
