If you can, roll stern to XP and wait until nearby are vista drivers available.

I've checked the M Audio website and as yet they enjoy no Vista drivers for any of their keyboards- which probably means none of the other key players have A vista driver for any of their products even so.

Anyway- stick with the oxygen,it's a well-mannered keyboard- far simpler to change your op system than draw from used to a new keyboard/hardware configuration.
Windows Vista have about 30 billion different software and hardware conflicts. Best bet is to stay beside XP for another 6 months to a year, when they come out with their bug fixes.
Wait for the Vista compatible drivers.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Vista!!!
more than expected because the keyboard company hasnt gotten a clean driver certified for Vista..

you could be waiting at least another 6 months.. you could try installing the driver contained by WinXP compatibility mode, but no guarantees that that'll work..
i've found most things arn't compatible
The Emu xboard is compatible, i'm just waiting for the xboard 61 near proteus bundle, they have updated drivers on some of the midi keyboards and software but some are still beneath development resembling Ableton Live. yeah it is annoying.
