Why won't my disc Burner burn music CDs?

i enjoy a CD burner on my computer that will rip music and documents and will burn documents near not problem but it will not burn music CDs. I'm wondering if its because they are MP3s files. maybe i haven't be buying the right kind of CDs? and yes i know it is a disc burner b/c it used to work but it just stopped working similar to a year ago.

Why won't my disc Burner burn music CDs?

if it is burning mp3's onto your cds you will need an mp3 player to play that disk

if you dont own an mp3 player (like most STOCK car stereos) you will obligation the files to be burned as .cda, which is the standard CD audio format

if your using nero, when you burn audio compact disc make sure you select AUDIO cd, not MP3 or background disk
does ur CD burner burn other things close to documents and pictures? maybe ur cd drive go bad...
any the CD writer go bad or you delete a CD writing sofware
it may be that the burner is obsolescent...new cd's are required to be used on a specific type of burner...contained by other words try buying mp3 cd's not regular cd-r cds
do you still have the disk for the burner if so reinstalled it except see if you can down load drivers and softwear from making also you can go to nero.com and download nero 7 it will supply all the sofware to burn but not the drivers for the burner itself
