Why sometimes my mouse pointer jump allover the desktop?

Why sometimes my mouse pointer jump allover the desktop?

If you own a wireless mouse - it could be that the USB receiver is too far from the mouse - try moving it a tad closer to the actual mouse. Even if it is 3 foot from the mouse, it could be too far believe it or not.

Low batteries within the mouse can cause this on occassion.
It's possessed Burn it. :)

Just a glitch contained by the mouse.
This probably because you are using an optical mouse and a non-optical mouse friendly surface... it can be a pain but I recommend buying a mouse mat that specifically say optical mouse compatible
i agree glitch in mouse loose lead or bad nouns to remote

go to control panel and try setting it to faster or a bit slower if it keep up
if u use a optical mouse the pointer moves all over due to the surface where on earth the mouse is kept as the surface reflects the rays from optical mouse. so try shifting the surface where the mouse is kept.
it may be a fooling around app.

start->all programms->startup and watc for unusual or unknown apps
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM

SOLUTION, GET RID OF THAT DAM MOUSE MAT RIGHT NOW, YOU'LL SEEE THE DIFFERENCE STATE AWAY.

. GET A NON REFLECTIVE BASE, ANS USE THAT. I USE MY WOODEN DESK. =] WORKS A TREAT.

YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY AN EXPENSIVE MOUSE MAT, ONLY REASONS MOUSE MATS WERE MAD, THERE ANTI-STATIC, SO THE ROLLER BALL MOUSE WOULDN'T CLOGG UP

SOLUTION DONE.
