Why does my computer run so slowly?

Don't distribute me the usual response, like it's spyware, or virus, or windows update. It have a P4 3.2 GHz processer, full gig of RAM, and ATI Radeon 9200 near 128MB, yet it even take 20 seconds to a moment ago open firefox. Playing games, it's complete horror. For Command and Conquer 3, I'm lucky to seize 5 FPS, and I usually average about 2-3. It's brand topical, I've disabled all that I requirement in msconfig and services, checked the registry, defragged, used ad-aware, avg, spybot etc. So, why is it running close to an outdated computer (laptop, btw if that helps) Thanks in credit.

couple of things can slow down your system



have u cleared your cookies & Internet temp files?

do u hold multiple anti-virus software running ?

update checking?

firewall or more than one firewalls running?

have u done scan such as adaware on a regular justification?

u dun need 32bits true color - 16 is adequate

hard drive space ?

did u disappear a cdrom inside the drive?

have u check your control panel device chief to see if there is any conflicting devices/driver, etc?

all the same better - find Hijacktis and see how many more items show up surrounded by the scan



have u delete programs instead of uninstalling them recently?

lastly - u heaps have on the blink hard ware some where on earth.
your cpu has overload try delete a few unused programs & softwares
have you delete temp files and cookies and cleared your history?try that and defrag your computer on a regular schedule. also grasp rid of spybot remove it from your add/and remove programs,spybot is a virus with contained by it's self as llong as you have a worthy firewall you are good.
