Why hasn't anybody thought of integrating window onto a chip instead of have to install it..?

why also move off it bare to directory corruption and viruses...it'd nouns a hell of a lot faster too..updates could be installed to the harddrive but remnant remains on chip..if you need a upgrade on unusual windows lately buy the newest upgrade chip simple:)

Why hasn't anybody thought of integrating window onto a chip instead of have to install it..?

A long time ago, Radio Shack have a computer, forget the model, that had DOS pre-loaded onto a ROM chip. At the time, other computers took anywhere from 1-10 minutes to boot. I clocked the Tandy at 2.1 second. I've also wondered why Microsoft can't put at least the majority of Windows onto a ROM or similar chip, departing bits and pieces on the HDD for updates/upgrades and what-not. In summary, yeah, it's a great idea, but they in recent times haven't done it.
Simple. Microsoft doesn't know what the hell they are doing. They don't know how to build an operating system. They just steal planning from other companies and poorly implement them into their own products.
Because operating systems are not hard-wired to chips. It kills the flexibility contained by terms of self able to use them next to different kind of electrical device, peripherals and software.
if they made it fool proof they wouldnt be able to mke any money selling protection !
